Grandmaster Xu Mingtang is a world-renown healer, Grandmaster of Zhong Yuan Qigong, and the leading specialist of Chinese Image Medicine in the world. He is a published author and an acclaimed educator. Currently, Grandmaster Xu serves a Deputy Chairman of the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong and the Director of Kundawell Medical Research Institute.

Grandmaster Xu is the current lineage holder of Zhong Yuan Qigong (or ZY Qigong). ZY Qigong is a system of self-development and study of life. It is practiced by approximately half a million people worldwide under the tutelage of Grandmaster Xu. He has authored over a dozen books on this subject. In 2008, Grandmaster Xu founded Kundawell Medical Research Institute to study diseases often “incurable” in Western medicine. 

Over the last few decades, Grandmaster Xu healed roughly 10,000 people by what has been described as “miracles.” Based on his healing work and deep meditative practices, he founded Chinese Image Medicine. In 2019, CIM has been recognized as an official branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  He has trained over 50,000 CIM healers and is now pioneering CIM adoption worldwide. 

Grandmaster Xu spends his time traveling the world teaching ZY Qigong and Image Medicine, as well as conducting latest research at his home base at Kundawell Medical Research Institute in Beijing, China.
